  • Clarification on Refund Policy for Non-Subsidized Cases:
The refund policy for cases that are ultimately confirmed not to receive funding support has been revised to:
“If the final confirmation shows that no funding was granted, the applicant may apply for a refund of the difference based on the non-subsidized fee standard, subject to special approval.”

  • Sustainability and Service Enhancement:
To ensure the financial sustainability of the university’s research ethics protection framework and maintain high-quality ethics review services, certain fee standards have been adjusted accordingly.

  • Implementation Scope: The new fee structure applies only to new applications submitted on or after October 1, 2024. Ongoing projects or applications already under review will not be affected.
